Regional head office of the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) in GB. RMC, Gilgit started its function soon after the partition of subcontinent and is controlling all Meteorological Observatories, Meteorological Watch office (MWO) and Meteorological offices (MO) located at various places of GB.
